The Zwara Programme is an initiative designed to ignite creativity and foster collaboration within Qatar's design community. Each edition explores a unique design concept inspired by M7’s current exhibitions, challenging participants to push their boundaries and rethink traditional design practices.
Participants are encouraged to draw inspiration from exhibitions, archives, and collections before responding to a design prompt that challenges their creative thinking. Through this process, designers develop a personal interpretation of the exhibition’s themes, allowing them the freedom to explore new approaches and artistic expression.
Over the course of the programme, designers receive guided mentorship from local and international experts. This mentorship helps them refine their concepts, shift perspectives, embrace collaboration, and tap into personal storytelling - ultimately strengthens their identity as a designer.
The programme culminates in a dedicated exhibition at M7, not only showcasing the final outcomes but also highlighting each designer’s creative journey and growth throughout the process.
