BOADK merges architectural thinking, sustainability, and social impact. Based in Cairo, the brand creates timeless pieces from reclaimed olive wood sourced in Egypt’s Siwa Oasis, preserved in resin to honour both material and meaning. Each bag is handmade by underprivileged women, offering them skills, employment, and inclusion in a creative economy. BOADK transforms waste into wearable art, rooted in heritage, intention, and empowerment.

About the Designer
Trained in architecture, Karen Hany Gaballa has always approached fashion as a medium for material storytelling. While studying in Geneva, she explored structure, texture, and sustainability through hands-on accessory design. What began as experimentation grew into a clear vision, one rooted in craftsmanship and ethics.
This journey led to BOADK, a brand where architectural thinking meets fashion, transforming raw wood into meaningful, wearable pieces shaped by purpose, heritage, and intentional design.
