ELISE is a women’s ready-to-wear brand inspired by the rich cultural heritage of the Middle East, where the founder grew up. The unique and expressive relationship Middle Eastern women have with fashion deeply influences the brand’s vision. This is combined with the founder’s mother’s artistic intuition and bold elegance, as well as the timeless, refined style of the 1950s. ELISE highlights the use of rare, colourful, and luxurious fabrics—such as brocade, jacquard, and Mediterranean vintage cottons—to create strong, timeless pieces worthy of cherished vintage treasures.
About the Designer
Elise Testot, founder of ELISE, grew up across the Middle East. She studied Business and Hospitality in Switzerland before pursuing fashion design at ESMOD Paris, while freelancing for for American department stores Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus through a Paris buying office. For years, she staged photoshoots and home runway shows with friends before formally establishing her brand in Paris, where she developed it for two and a half years. Elise’s brand embodies her rich middle eastern cultural legacy, where clothing is a powerful means for women to be seen and admired.
