Laura Laurens is a Colombian fashion brand rooted in transformation and social repair. Through the deconstruction of military fabrics and collaborations with marginalized communities, the brand creates bold silhouettes that challenge identity, celebrate hybridity, and honour craft. At its core, Laura Laurens is about sewing the impossible — using design as a force for inclusion, memory, and change.

About the Designer
Laura Laurens is a self-taught designer who launched her eponymous brand in Paris with the SS14 collection. She is recognized for using fashion as a platform to foster social cohesion. Inspired by her background in fine arts, Laura establishes a dialogue between opposites to challenge the concepts of borders, identity, and cultural syncretism. Her work is characterized by a raw approach to design, textile interventions, repurposed military fabrics, wraparound shapes, artisanal processes, a commitment to sustainable practices, and collaborations with various minority social groups.
