About the Designer

Leandro Cano, born in 1984 in Ventas del Carrizal, Andalusia, studied fashion in Seville before launching his eponymous brand in 2012. His debut collection won recognition at MBFW Madrid and the “Designer of Tomorrow” award, leading to a collaboration with Marc Jacobs in Berlin. Over the years, he has received the Samsung Innovation Project prize, Vogue’s Who’s On Next award, and twice represented Spain at the Woolmark Prize. Deeply committed to artisanal craft, Cano collaborates with Spanish artisans to merge heritage with modern design. His creations, inspired by Spanish folklore and culture, have dressed stars like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, and been exhibited alongside McQueen and Margiela at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Frankfurt.
