About the Designer
Batoul Alrashdan, winner of the 2024 Fashion Trust Arabia FashionTech Award, Taipei Design Award (Industrial Design), and the WDO Sustainability Award, is a Jordanian FashionTech designer, architect, founder of Studio B.O.R. She merges computational couture, modular design, biofabrication, and advanced robotics, creating interactive e-textiles, soft robotics, bacterial leather, and biomaterials from food waste, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while fusing environmental storytelling with speculative science and innovation to define the future of FashionTech.
