A creative introduction to fashion silhouettes and garment shapes, helping teens understand how different forms influence style. The workshop also encourages participants to discover their own way of sketching, building confidence in finding a personal drawing style.
Workshop Structure:
- Tracing Exploration
Particpants will start by tracing over images and silhouettes to explore a wide variety of garment shapes and styles.
- Printed Croquis Activity
Participants will then work with pre-printed ‘croquis’(fashion figures).
- Fabric Layering
Using fabric pieces, they will layer and experiment directly on the croquis to create their own garment designs,blending sketching with tactile exploration.
- Personal Sketching
The session ends with encouraging them to adapt these exercises into their own sketching style, emphasizing creativity and self-expression.
